Yoga cannot really be talked about. It must be experienced. It is a discipline and as such requires commitment, passion, truthfullness.
In return, by regular practice and exploration, Yoga brings joy, contentment, equilibrium and a state of natural peace. To use T.K.V. Desikachar's words: Yoga is the link ....the link to what we need most, may that be our body, our mind, our emotions, etc.

My instructions are simple, direct and clear: individualized for the need of the student.
Yoga IS for every body and not just for a specific category of people who have mastered amazing asanas, whose body allows them more freedom in movement.

Yoga will bring freedom to areas of your life that need it most, be it your body, your mind, your relationships... By breathing more freely and directing the breath properly, you allow more freedom into your life and you new things to happen.

The Pilates Method is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates.

It is a method of total body conditioning that emphasizes proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement (the Pilates Principles) that results in increased flexibility, strength, muscle tone, body awareness, energy, and improved mental concentration.

The main focus of Pilates exercises is on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of neutral alignment of the spine and strengthening the deep postural muscles that support this alignment, which are important to help alleviate and prevent back pain.
